Campaign pROAS FAQ
General
Q: Why are receiving both SKAN and MMP attributed campaigns?
The data output AlgoLift provides is intended to be consumed by a client's ETL daily to feed a BI stack. For completeness sake, we've also included traditionally attributed campaigns in our output. Please refer to our documentation on campaign pROAS for a more detailed description of how to differentiate between the two attribution methods.
Facebook and Google
Q: Why are there less install counts per campaign from AlgoLift’s campaign pROAS output than what are reported by Google and Facebook?
Google / FB will report "modeled conversions" on top of the SKAN postback counts, while the AlgoLift campaign pROAS only counts the postbacks received by the networks.
Q: Why are some Facebook and Google campaigns missing?
Possible reasons:
- Since those platforms support non-mobile targeting (for example web accounts), make sure you are only comparing the set of SKAN campaigns
- Not all of your FB/Google accounts may have been shared during the onboarding process, please reach out to your CS team to confirm which account IDs were provisioned
